If you have a outdoor patio with a roof on it and you would
like to make it living area what to do. If the patio was permitted and
built to your local building codes this will make your job easier. The
patio will need a exterior footing and windows. This is a common room
addition and their are a lot of these patios on older homes that have
been converted to living space, unfortunately most are not to code.
These homes can be sold with out the proper permits as long as the patio
is not listed as living space. This is a good way to add a room to
