Marble Tile Shower Seat

Ahhhhhhhh a marble tile shower seat what else could you ask for in a shower. A place to sit down after a long hard day at the office and relax while you are taking a shower. You could even read a book in the shower, well maybe not but the thought of it happening in the near future. Yeah!!!

The height of the shower seat will depend on the people using the shower but as a good rule of thumb try not to make the tile seat over 16 inches tall.

There should be some form of waterproofing underneath the tile shower seat. Any horizontal surface area in the shower will have the potential to hold moisture which could create possible damage to your home over time.

Tile shower seats should only be installed if you have room in the shower. I have been approached by some homeowners to install a shower seat in a small shower. It's easy to figure out if you have enough room for a shower seat in your shower. Simply grab a small chair, set it in the shower area and take a shower. If you can take a shower comfortably with the chair, you probably have enough room for a nice marble tile showers seat.
