Most soap dishes are made in ceramic and add convenience in the
shower area where there is limited space to set the soap on.
They can become a focal point to the shower wall and come in
different designs. Not all but most soap dishes need to be installed
during the construction process. Some home improvement centers sell soap
dishes that can be attached to your existing bath tub or shower walls.
Another alternative to a soap dish would be a small niche in your
bathtub or shower walls to provide a place for soaps and shampoos.
