and rebar looks like when completed. The adobe concrete blocks are
spaced properly allowing the rebar to center in the floor slab.
As you can see a new water supply has been added to the footing. A
plastic coating or plastic wrap will not allow the concrete to touch the
copper water pipe. If they were to touch the corrosive process of the
pipe rusting would be accelerated.
There are just enough of adobe blocks installed to hold the rebar up.
Use just enough adobe blocks and no more to hold the reinforcing rebar.
