Remove A Window And Install A Door
  It is not that difficult to remove a window and install a new door if it is a situation like this where the door is the same width as the window. If the door is smaller you will have to fill in the exterior siding or stucco.

If the door is bigger you will have to change the window header to a larger size. You will also have to do more finish work to the inside of the house.
