Color Coat Around Window

When installing this large window, I had to color coat around the window. The color coat was going to be painted so did not have to be an exact match to the existing stucco.

When applying color coat around your Windows, keep in mind that any color coat going over paint, might not adhere to it very well. You're probably thinking, why are you doing it then.

You don't have much of a choice, in a situation like this. I could sandblast the existing color coat and paint off of the building, but this could become quite costly.

I would suggest you color coat over the paint and then used the paint as a protective coating over the color coat. This works for a good but could separate over time.

It would have been passed if a homeowner ordered a custom window to fit the existing opening.
