The window sill tile over laps the wall tile allowing the water to run
off and over the wall down to the tub. Running the tile the other way
creates a trap in the grout line. Over time could crack due to excessive
moisture. The excessive moisture in this case was caused from over use
of a shower with out proper room ventilation. This bathroom had a
working fan to remove moisture it was however never used.
