| I do not recommend vinyl siding. It
is one of the most popular types of siding. I have seen the
damage that vinyl siding installed on a house improperly can do. If you
have a house with vinyl siding make sure that the wood behind the siding
is not being damaged.
If you have vinyl soffits with any damage make sure to repair or
replace the damaged pieces. It seemed like every contractor was
installing this siding over your old siding to give your home a new look
but if you went over damaged wood siding you might have even more damage
now since it wasn't repaired before they covered it up with that nice
vinyl siding.
