Install A Solar Powered Attic Fan

Solar attic fans save the homeowner money by moving the hot or moist air out of the attic. The roof receives heat from the sun. Whether it's a shingled roof or a metal roof, heat begins building up in the attic space. Most vents are mounted high on the roof, near the ridge, and combined with soffit or gable vents for balanced intake and exhaust air streams.

Moisture also enters the attic space from daily activities such as bathing, cooking, laundry, etc. Unless this heat and moisture is removed, damage can occur in the form of mold, mildew, and dry rot.

Solar powered attic fans are a cheap investment for home. With rising energy costs these will prove to be a great investment in the future.
