The damage to this concrete stair landing is just going to get worst if nothing is done about it. Worst  yet this set of stairs is about 300 yards from the beach. The ocean air will do damage to concrete faster than if this set of stairs was inland.  The metal rebar needs to be covered up to prevent more rusting causing structural weakness to the set of concrete stairs.
