The plywood flooring has been
replaced in the water damaged areas except for the piece where the gray
arrow is pointing to. The reason for this is that it goes under the wall
with no damage to it. If I would have cut the plywood flooring next to
the wall it would have created a structural problem with the building
floor diaphragm nailing. It would have looked nicer cutting the plywood
next to the wall and this is what most carpenters do in a situation like
this. The building structure is more important than how it looks
cosmetically
