| The 2 x 4 wood window framing is
almost unrecognizable in this picture. The damage to the wood sill is
from no sealant between the window and the tile. As time goes on the
gaps and cracks in water damaged areas get larger letting more damage
happen. I have replaced shower framing around so many windows because of
the grout between the tile and the window either cracking or falling out
completely. This is a good example of why I am trying to inform other
contractors and homeowners so these mistakes don't happen again.
