Wood Damage From Bathtub

It's hard to imagine this much damage could have been done in such a short amount of time from water. This shower and tub combination is a great way to have a shower and a bathtub in a small bathroom. The problem is this bathtub was made to be installed over a tiled platform not in a area like this.

This seems to be a problem with a lot of inexperienced contractors that have it in their best interest to give the homeowner what they want. I have repaired a lot of structural wood damage over the years because of someone's lack of knowledge about a certain product or method of construction.
