Tight Wood Window

As you can see in the picture above their is no gap in between the two wood windows. This is caused from the wood expanding over time as the moisture level increases in the wood parts of the window. How does the moisture get into the wood windows? Through all the unpainted areas and gaps or cracks. The moisture seeps into the smallest holes you could imagine.

How do we repair a tight wood window? You will have to get a wood plane and remove the wood at the center of the window. This could be done with a sander carefully if you don't have a wood plane.
